Seeking a Registered Senior Project Manager in our Towson, MD office.

Key Responsibilities

  • The selected candidate would provide building enclosure evaluations, forensic investigations, designs, construction administration, commissioning services and peer reviews for projects throughout the Mid-Atlantic States.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum BS degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or Architecture, 8-10 years’ proven professional experience in building enclosure evaluation, design and performance and a track record of sound project/client management.
  • P.E. or or AIA Registration is required.  LEED®AP certification is desirable.
  • Microsoft Office expertise and the ability to communicate well, both verbally and in writing, are critical to this position.
  • Some travel (5-10%) and attendance at trade shows are required.

Key Responsibilities

  • The selected candidate would provide forensic evaluations, designs, construction phase assistance, and peer reviews for federal, state, municipal, and private sector clients.

Job Requirements

  • A technical background in waterproofing, air barriers, curtain walls, window systems, facades and roofing.
  • BS degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering and a minimum of 5-8 years’ experience in building envelope evaluation, design and construction administration.
  • Professional registration is strongly preferred, candidates pursuing professional licensing are also encouraged to apply.

Administrative Professional

Gale has an opportunity for an organized, reliable, detail-oriented individual to provide key administrative support for our professional engineering and architectural staff

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand and handle general business practices in a Professional Services office to include coordinating purchases of office supplies and services.
  • Maintain/update filing systems for the proper and timely handling of correspondence, documents, contracts, and records.
  • Understand contract terms and conditions, to include American Institute of Architects contracts.
  • Utilize sound business writing skills to maintain corporate word processing and report standards.
  • Interface with corporate accounting department regarding project billing, accounts receivable and expense reporting.
  • Interface with clients regarding contract documentation, billing and accounts receivable.
  • Maintain master word processing documents to include reports, proposals and marketing materials.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of administrative experience in a Professional Services (engineering/architecture/legal) environment.
  • An Associate or Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
  • Experience with review and management of professional services contracts.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with demonstrated expertise in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.  Knowledge of Access is a plus
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to interact with vendors and clients on behalf of the firm.
  • Strong attention to detail, including proofreading.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, prioritize multiple projects, and adjust work accordingly, often against tight deadlines.

Requirements

  • Must have BSCE, 10+ years of current airport engineering experience, and a Professional Engineer’s (P.E.) license.
