Key Responsibilities

  • Perform evaluations, field testing and construction monitoring for building enclosure projects.
  • Preparation of field reports, construction reports and support documentation.

Job Requirements

  • A technical background and at least 3-5 years of construction monitoring or consultation experience in waterproofing, air barriers, curtain walls, window/wall systems and roofing.

  • Sound technical writing skills and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office is required, along with the ability to communicate effectively with owners and contractors. 

  • AutoCAD expertise is not required, but desirable. 

  • RRC, RRO or RWC certification is preferred.

Building Enclosure Engineer or Architect

Key Responsibilities

  • The selected candidate will serve as a Senior Engineer/Project Manager on a variety of projects focused on the evaluation, design and construction administration of building enclosures such as roofs, facades, and fenestrations. Previous experience with exterior historic restoration of commercial structures and building enclosures is favorable. Essential duties may include data collection, research, reporting, drafting, analysis and construction monitoring.

Job Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Architecture or Architectural Engineering and a minimum of 7-10 years of professional experience in building enclosure renovations/rehabilitations.
  • P.E. or RA Registration is required. Candidates pursuing professional licensing are encouraged to apply.
