Congratulations are in order! Gale was recently notified that our Athletic Facilities Consulting and Design Group has been recognized with two Distinguished Facility awards by the American Sports Builders Association (ASBA). Projects at the Indian Creek School in Crownsville, MD and Brown University in Providence, RI were both chosen as winners in the Multi Field Facility category and are both up for the top prize of Facility of the Year. The winner will be announced at ASBA’s annual Technical Meeting, in Scottsdale, AZ on December 3, 2018. Best of luck to all in the running! Indian Creek School
Athletic Facilities Renovation, Crownsville, MD
This project involved the installation of two new synthetic turf fields, with alternate infill, to replace the existing natural grass fields; a new 800-person, ADA accessible grandstand; new sports lighting, improved site access and improved overall aesthetics; 6 new Tennis Courts; and a new Natural Turf Baseball Field.
Baseball/Softball Complex, Providence, RI
This project involved the complete reconstruction of the University’s baseball and softball complex. The new facilities provided synthetic turf infields and outfields, new spectator seating, new pressboxes, new sunken dugouts, power, filming capabilities, and maximized school imaging and branding.
