What do you do at Gale? On a day-to-day basis I may perform a contract negotiation review, write a proposal, review staff deliverables, participate in video conferences, host a project meeting, make a construction site visit, or visit with an existing or prospective client.

Why did you choose this career? I chose this career at Gale nearly 20 years ago because it offered a great blend of office and field time. Coming out of college with a civil engineering degree and construction background, the mix of field data gathering, and office analysis was intriguing, as I could use both sets of learned skills.

What is your favorite part of your job? My favorite part of Gale is the people, including staff internal to Gale, clients and contractors, winning new work, and seeing our designs being completed in the field.

Who are you outside of Gale? Outside of Gale, I enjoy playing golf and being around cars and racetracks, although my wife and two children and Gale keep my involvement with hobbies to a reasonable level.  Prior to the kids joining us, my wife and I have traveled to Texas, Canada, Belgium and Monaco following motor racing events.

Fun Fact: Our favorite vacation spot would include mini golf, climbing walls and go-carts for the kids (and me), the beach or pool, a championship golf course, a race weekend, and lots of good food and relaxation.
