Airport Engineering and Planning

Why Did you choose this career? I have always been fascinated by construction. As a kid, during summer breaks, my friends and I would spend weeks planning, designing, and building small developments of clay houses, roads and different facilities in a corner of my parents’ backyard. When it was time for me to choose my career, it was obvious civil engineering was the one.

What is the best part of your job? My favorite part of my job is seeing a project that we scoped, planned, and designed come to life. No matter how similar some projects are, the process is always unique and never one hundred percent replicable.  This gives me the chance to always learn something new on every project.

Who are you outside of Gale?  Outside of Gale, my favorite hobbies include traveling, discovering new cultures and foods, playing/watching sports (I am huge soccer fan) and volunteering. I am part of an organization called Afreek’Ed, which helps provide education to less fortunate children around the world.

Fun Fact: If someone were to play you in a movie, who would it be? If someone were to play me in a movie, it would be Denzel Washington.
