Aline has experience with parking garage projects, mostly concrete and steel structures, and is also interested in wood design. She began her engineering career in Brazil but has worked most of her professional years in the United States, while and after getting a master’s degree in civil/structural engineering.
What is your favorite part of your job?
My favorite part of the job is being able to see calculations, specs and drawings come to fruition and become part of, or entire buildings. Renovation projects are also interesting because it is challenging when something needs to be repaired while other parts of the building are still in use. There is not a dull day doing what we do!
